It retails for a much more affordable $450 and although it has fewer cores than the 7900X3D and 7950X3D, gamers are unlikely to really care about reduced multi-core performance.

<![CDATA[AMD Ryzen 9 7900 review: This CPU just made the 7900X obsolete]]> As part of its new 65W Ryzen 7000 series launch, AMD rolled out the AMD Ryzen 9 7900, the most affordable Ryzen 9 7000 CPU with the same 12-core and 24-thread configuration. With slower clock speeds and lower TDP, how does this CPU compare against the other AMD chips, and is it worth considering?

<![CDATA[AMD Ryzen 7 7700 review: The new best mid-range AMD CPU]]> AMD launched three new 65W Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors to kick off 2023, allowing you to build systems that don't produce as much heat or draw as much power. We found the 105W AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs to be among the best out there, easily capable of going up against Intel but noted high operating temperatures.

<![CDATA[AMD Ryzen 5 7600 review: An impressively affordable Zen 4 CPU]]> AMD launched its Zen 4 generation of desktop processors in October with the mighty AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and 7950X. Not only did the company come out with a new architecture to take on Intel's Raptor Lake processors, but it also introduced an entirely new platform and socket. While this does mean it's no longer possible to upgrade from older AMD CPUs to the new 7000 series, we're able to take advantage of PCIe 5.0, DDR5, and other technological advances with the new platform.

<![CDATA[Intel Core i9-13900K review: The best CPU performance out there]]> Not that long ago, we were proudly declaring the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X as the biggest, baddest CPU on the planet. It wasn't without its flaws, but the results spoke for themselves. However, AMD is no longer in a league of one because Intel has answered right back with the Core i9-13900K. In some regards, this 13th-generation upgrade is a minor one over the 12th, but in others, it's a substantial leap.

<![CDATA[Intel Core i5-13600K review: The best CPU to put in a gaming PC]]> There was a time when many gamers, system builders, and enthusiasts would pass by the Intel Core i5. It's not that it was bad, but it was a little uninteresting for many years. That changed with the Core i5-12600K, so we've been waiting (im)patiently for its successor. And that successor is now here, unsurprisingly called the Intel Core i5-13600K.

<![CDATA[AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and 7950X review: Unsurprisingly, they're the most powerful processors]]> It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but AMD's new Ryzen 7000 processors are the best CPUs that you can get right now. After all, these things tend to go in cycles, so it should be no surprise that the new chips comfortably outperform Intel's last-gen CPUs.
